If you’re ready to network like a pro and find the best opportunities, keep reading!

First up, let’s get into LinkedIn. This platform is not just for corporate baddies and recruiters; it’s a job hack for teachers too! Start by creating a killer profile. Make sure your headline screams “World-Class Educator Ready to Teach Abroad” or something that will get that point across. Fill out your experience, add all your certifications, and don’t forget to include a professional yet approachable profile picture (please no AI photos).

Join groups related to teaching abroad, follow international schools, and engage with their posts. Don’t be shy about sliding into DMs – a polite message can open doors you didn’t even know existed. Share your journey and insights regularly to keep your profile active and visible.

Next, let’s hit the job fairs. These events are literally perfect for making face-to-face connections. Whether they’re international or domestic, job fairs are stacked with schools that need your skills. Bring plenty of resumes, dress to impress, and have your elevator pitch ready.
