About Your Host
I'm Shanice, a Kansas City educator and the founder of Teach Travel Thrive. I've taught internationally in Kuwait, Qatar, and Dubai, and I came home with a mission: help other American teachers make this move with clarity and confidence instead of guesswork.
I know firsthand how overwhelming it feels to even start, so I built a step-by-step approach that takes the guesswork out of choosing a destination, evaluating schools, applying with confidence, planning your finances, and handling the logistics that come with it. My goal for this workshop is simple: help you leave with a real, personal next step, not just inspiration.
